I have been suffering the effects of fibromyalgia for years with little or no relief. Many various treatment approaches had been tried in the past without any real or lasting success. I was skeptical because of past experiences, but felt I had to try one more thing. During the first treatment I noticed that my muscles were relaxing and following the treatment I was able to move much more freely. That night I had the best sleep I had had in years. I have been able to alter my medication dramatically and continue to make significant improvement. I felt so good after the third visit, that I attempted jogging which I hadn’t done in years. Hi, My name is Sheila Bearden. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in October 1999. I have had this awful illness for at least 6 yrs. I have been to so many doctors and have taken so many prescriptions that I was just exhausted with even telling one more person about me and my thing. I am writing to let the world know that God has truly not only blessed my life, but has given me a miracle! For eight years I battled with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and osteoarthritis. The fibromyalgia was at its worst two years ago when I became completely bedridden, walking only a few steps at a time for bathroom trips and with two canes. I was going to an Atlanta pain clinic every other week, a Rheumatologist every four weeks, blood work every three months, was on nine medications, including 140 mgs. of oxycontin for pain. It was at that point I was granted a miracle and God brought me to Pain Relief Clinic, MD.  I had tried every other possible therapy and means of healing available. I was diagnosed with arthritis and osteopenia in 1994. In 1997, 1 was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Due to the severe pain in my elbow, I could not open lids from containers, and it gradually got worse. I have experienced pain all over my body. It was so severe that I could not move my neck to see the traffic when making a right turn. Besides the pain, I also experienced the trauma of my personal life. I could not sleep at night with out medication. For the last eighteen months I’ve only slept two or three hours a night. I was like a walking zombie not knowing what was happening and being forgetful. I did not know how to get help. Fortunately, a friend told me about Pain Relief Clinic, MD and I am glad I went. I have a story idea for your show. The subject is fibromyalgia and here is my story about two doctors that have virtually cured me!!! They have the only known treatment for fibromyalgia that is scientifically proven to be effective. PLEASE READ!!!!

I suffered from the chronic illness fibromyalgia for almost 10 years. I was in a very mild car accident that triggered this condition when I was only a senior in high school. During my college years I began to form many of the chronic conditions that accompany fibromyalgia such as chronic fatigue, chronic widespread muscle pain, sleep difficulties, dysmenorrhea, irritable bladder. I then moved to Atlanta for graduate school and developed even more symptoms: esophageal reflux, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, irritable bowel syndrome, and multiple food allergies. It took me 7 years to even get a diagnosis because no doctor ever put the pieces of the puzzle together. I was left feeling like a hypochriandriac (even though I have been a clinical psychology doctoral graduate student and knew that I wasn’t!). I tried almost everything the medical field had to offer and other alternative medicine modalities. I took multiple medications, tried physical therapy, massage therapy, osteopathic manipulations, herbal supplements, chiropractic adjustments, yoga, reiki, psychotherapy, food allergy diets, and god only knows what else. None of these provided any long-term relief. Throughout all of this, I have managed to graduate from undergraduate school, complete a master’s degree in a clinical psychology, and am currently working on my doctorate in clinical psychology. I will soon be beginning my clinical research project on fibromyalgia. Just recently, I found these 2 compassionate, caring, and brilliant medical doctors in Georgia that cured my fibromyalgia! I no longer have any of the debilitating symptoms that have plagued me for the past 10 years. Let me say that again, I no longer have ANY of the fibromyalgia symptoms that I have had over the past 10 years! They literally gave me my life back! Currently, they have treated over 400 patients successfully. They have done a medical study for 2 years and are submitting their study to a medical journal any day now. They have an 80% success rate of curing patients with fibromyalgia. Their treatment modality is called electroceutical medicine systems that is administered an average of 12 times over 6 weeks. The treatment is very relaxing. I took a nap everytime I got a treatment! I only needed 7 treatments due to my young age.
