Hi, My name is Sheila Bearden. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in October 1999. I have had this awful illness for at least 6 yrs. I have been to so many doctors and have taken so many prescriptions that I was just exhausted with even telling one more person about me and my thing. My boss handed me a clipping from a neighborhood bulletin board. I almost screamed, ‘not another support group’. I had tired of all those very quickly. I was in such severe pain that for weeks at a time, I couldn’t get out of bed. If I was able to get out, I didn’t have the energy. I took the clipping and called the number on the piece of paper. It was to the Pain Relief Clinic, MD  chronic pain facility.  I went and the doctors there not only cared about me and my pain, they showed me a treatment that they said would bring instant relief. WOW. They were right, I have been going for 6 weeks and actually noticed no pain after only 2 treatments; I am off all medications and am actually considering snow skiing in a few weeks. I have not been able to have any kind of outside recreation for years. I am finishing my treatment and understand that this is not a cure, but I would recommend this treatment to anyone suffering with this horrible illness that is ‘not in your head’
